Castillo María Fernanda
With over nine years of dedicated service at the Embassy of Honduras in Madrid, María Fernanda Castillo Laínez has been instrumental in fostering cultural exchange and promoting tourism to showcase Honduras’ heritage. Her role encompassed the creation and execution of various events, while also managing the logistics of official visits and exhibitions, including prominent platforms like FITUR. Prior to that current post, María Fernanda played a pivotal role as an Analyst in the Directorate of Regional Integration, a position that involved coordinating significant meetings between International Organizations and Governments (2013-2014), where she was a key member of the organizing team for the First Joint Commission Meeting between Central America and the European Union. She holds a Master’s in Protocol, Event Organization, and Business Tourism from EAE Business School (Madrid), and a Master’s in Advertising and Communication, from Universidad Pontificia de Comillas ICAI-ICADE (Madrid).
